Clara & Dan's 25 & 50th 1-3. Chris & Frank's 50th.

25th & 40th Anniversary

The family portrait at the 50th Anniversary.

Here's the first half of Clara & Dan's 50th, from August 18th 1990. Although I recorded this, I did not keep the original. Instead I gave it to Clara & Dan. Over the years I forgot about it until Aunt Clara mentioned she still had the video.

The photos below are taken from the video. The hands are quicker than the eyes, & Frank tries to prove it. This happens at 4:20. As I begin to focus on Robbie & Pat Camilli, I notice Frank's right hand (& I can tell where's it's going). He pulls Kathy's belt to untie her dress but Kathy's too quick for him, grabbing his hand before he can.

Part 2 begins with Angelina being asked to speak into the microphone. Confused she thinks it's a phone putting it up to her ear.

Clara & Dan's 50th FULL LENGTH Anniversary video can be viewed &/or download below.
To download just click the Mpeg2 link once you open the video & save it to your hard drive:

The 1st video was recorded by myself, the other by Frank Patane.

If you have email addresses &/or phone #'s of someone featured in these videos (especially on the Marini side, many of whom I do not know) please forward or show these to them.

Frank's video jumps a bit at x's. I've adjusted the tracking but cannot stop it from doing so. On the upswing he & Marie asked guests to say a few words & there are some gems. Especially Chris Gentile's mother who at that time was 90 & doesn't understand what's going on so she puts the mic to her ear saying hello like she's talking on the phone!

Considering most of the video's online are of 8mm it's wonderful to hear everyone's voices.
Take a step back further in time to Clara & Dan's 25th. Footage runs from color to b&w.
It was switched to b&w so it could be better lightened during the dark dancing scene. The same video is linked below it with (minimal) color intact :

Cedrone Reunion-Family Tree

Before looking at the images. Look at the family dynanics. Loreto Cedrone is twice married before meeting Maria Cellucci. Both are widowed with children, marry & have children:
All the kids share the same father Loreto, except Nancy, born to Maria's first husband Nicholas Salvucci.
All the kids share the same mother, Maria, except Harry & Vi, born to Loreto's first wife Donata (Rufo).
Harry & Vi are then 1/2 brother/sister to the next four, Christine, Ann, Clara & Sonny. (1/2 because they share only the same father)
Nancy is also 1/2 sister to the next four (1/2 because she shares only the same mother).
But Harry & Vi are not related (by blood) to Nancy, nor she to them because...
Harry & Vi are born to Loreto & Donata. Nancy to Nicholas & Maria. Therefore Harry & Vi are step brother & sister to Nancy since they do not share a parent!
A quick note about Loreto's second wife. We know his first wife Donata dies leaving him with Harry & Vi. We have no "proof," in the form of a marriage document that he marries her sister upon going back to San Donato, outside of what was told & back then men & women did not "live together," so it is most likely true. But it is known that's what a "good woman," did. She would help raise the children of a deceased family member & since she was unmarried it would've been the proper thing to do. She dies of tuberculosis within months.
A photo of Loreto & Maria with all six children was never taken, at least none we know of. I wanted to create a "realistic,"snap shot of what it might look like. The problem is I only have a few images of each sibling but everyone had to appear from the same era. I have one photo of Clara as a young woman which is her wedding day. Using that as the theme I began the process using the photo below to "drop in," siblings. The steps allowed me to position the family in a more life like pose while the stairs created a depth of field.
You'll notice Maria's hands on Harry's shoulders. When I transferred her & Loreto over from another photo I just kept her hands there. To make the image more realistic look at how Harry's coat flows over Sonnys.
The original photo of Nancy was taken from her lap up. The way she's featured here she needs to extend her dress. How ironc her own son would be so helpful. Copying Matty's black tux pants from another image I was able create her long black dress.

Here is our Family Tree (minus great grandparents).
Click on the image to see it full size & to print it as your keepsake.
Here are our great grandparents. There are no photos of the four of them together. There are no photos of Loreto's parents that we know of. The image you see of them here (darker clothes) is from a painting which is believed to be them. I combined the four:

Salvatore Cedrone & Christine Camilli.
Loreto Cellucci & Antoinette DiBona.

First & 45th Birthday. Play Nice!

This is my first birthday, but it's my father's 45th!
I was born on his birthday, but you'd never know it was his birthday too with all the kids.
Think about this. At the time of my first birthday my mother was 42 . Doug will be married within a year. Donald's in the army stationed overseas & Diane's in high school. I'm sure she thought she was just about done raising children. WRONG! Hello Loreto.
Is there enough cake, candy, hot chocolate, & soda? Watch the kids as they "shovel it in." Save room for cake & ice cream too! YouTube - Loreto&Americo'sBirthday

A family favorite, well maybe not for Anthony (Fricchione). He's formally attired in a white sport coat, bow tie & snazzy red shorts. I look like I'm from the old country, in suspenders & white t-shirt.

When you see us at the wagon aka the Rex, we're each in different outfits. I don't know why. But watch as I play nice...

37 Hopper. Pleasantville. Nancy Camilli.

This black & white appears to be the only known photo showing the original full exterior of 37 Hopper. I took the color photo in the 70's.
After Uncle Harry rebuilt the steps my father replaced the cement style railings with wrought iron. By the late 60's the garage was converted into my bedroom. The lawn expanded to where the driveway was. Years later the hedges were replaced with a brown fence. That's Mom & Mrs. Buzzoro, each in their "house dresses."I enhanced the black & white using an oil technique. Grandma's sitting in the front yard. Click any of the three to see them full size.

Elvis' "Memories," makes this slide show "feel good." Some photos are repeated from the above video. This wasn't intentional. Both were produced when there were lesser images available.

Diane's memorial video. A classic song from the '50's, Santo & Johnny's "Sleepwalk," creates the perfect feeling for this slide show.
My Mother & Kelly on what I call "Mother's Day:"

Dan Marini recorded about 16 minutes worth of Pleasantville family footage from the late 50's to early 60's, which no one (in NY) knew existed, not even those featured in the 8mm. In fact he captured several important family events.
What makes this most important today is the original 8mm films are GONE. Disposed of after they were transferred, all that remains are two badly worn VHS tapes from the late 80's. I have since archived the files from those tapes. Below you'll see:
Doug's wedding, myself about 4 years old driving a car, Easter at my house, Diane as a BLOND, the day before & after Marie's wedding aka the Blizzard of '69..

Also mixed in with his daughter Linda's many reels from 45 years ago was the only known footage of Donald's wedding, which no one (in NY) including Donald & Barbara knew of until I asked to transfer her 8mm. Unlike Dan's links which are VHS tapes this is the original film:

I call the above video CHROME. Chrome bumpers. Chrome trim. Magnificent hood ornaments. Take a two minute look back at the shine, the sheen, the brillance & lustre that were our cars of the 50's & '60s. See that glare bouncing off the chrome and the car's finish, now that was a paint job.

Returning home (below). This is the ONLY video of the four Tocci siblings. In 1957, my father films Donald's welcome home. Diane passed away 2008. In NO OTHER TIME (that I'm aware of) is there video of the four of us posed together.
