Donald. Play Ball! Army.

This is Donald's Pleasantville Dwarfs (summer) baseball league scrap book from the late 40's / early 50's. Click on an image in the slideshow to read the names of the players. See how many neighborhood kids you recognize. Or at the very least names/families you knew of in town .I had a little fun blending images into the newspaper clippings.
Here you see Donald playing with the 1949 Dwarfs & a years later in high school.
Out of the 13 players in the 1949 team photo Donald stands in a spot where you can just see a smoke stack over his left shoulder. Years later he unknowingly poses the same way in the very same spot. Play ball in the slide show to the right or catch it here: Picasa Web Albums -

 1957. Stationed in Germany, while on Army leave Donald travels to Copenhagen however he did not film this.
