37 Hopper. Pleasantville. Nancy Camilli.

This black & white appears to be the only known photo showing the original full exterior of 37 Hopper. I took the color photo in the 70's.
After Uncle Harry rebuilt the steps my father replaced the cement style railings with wrought iron. By the late 60's the garage was converted into my bedroom. The lawn expanded to where the driveway was. Years later the hedges were replaced with a brown fence. That's Mom & Mrs. Buzzoro, each in their "house dresses."I enhanced the black & white using an oil technique. Grandma's sitting in the front yard. Click any of the three to see them full size.
Let's go back to 37 Hopper once more:

All things come to an end. 37 Hopper was home for about 50 years. Two years after my mother died my father sold the home which once filled with so many memories...

Elvis' "Memories," makes this slide show "feel good." Some photos are repeated from the above video. This wasn't intentional. Both were produced when there were lesser images available.

Diane's memorial video. A classic song from the '50's, Santo & Johnny's "Sleepwalk," creates the perfect feeling for this slide show.
My Mother & Kelly on what I call "Mother's Day:"

Dan Marini recorded about 16 minutes worth of Pleasantville family footage from the late 50's to early 60's, which no one (in NY) knew existed, not even those featured in the 8mm. In fact he captured several important family events.
What makes this most important today is the original 8mm films are GONE. Disposed of after they were transferred, all that remains are two badly worn VHS tapes from the late 80's. I have since archived the files from those tapes. Below you'll see:
Doug's wedding, myself about 4 years old driving a car, Easter at my house, Diane as a BLOND, the day before & after Marie's wedding aka the Blizzard of '69..

Also mixed in with his daughter Linda's many reels from 45 years ago was the only known footage of Donald's wedding, which no one (in NY) including Donald & Barbara knew of until I asked to transfer her 8mm. Unlike Dan's links which are VHS tapes this is the original film:

I call the above video CHROME. Chrome bumpers. Chrome trim. Magnificent hood ornaments. Take a two minute look back at the shine, the sheen, the brillance & lustre that were our cars of the 50's & '60s. See that glare bouncing off the chrome and the car's finish, now that was a paint job.
This is PART TWO:Chrome Two

The fins, wings, big steering wheels, white wall tires, leather seats, hard tops & convertibles & the smaller "vent, "windows on the font door, no longer available on today's cars. Click on the Chrome above & cruise or polish it here:YouTube - CedroneTocciChrome
I've "vintaged," the film. Like a car, I'm burning rubber for four minutes! Enjoy the music as you cycle the web....

Returning home (below). This is the ONLY video of the four Tocci siblings. In 1957, my father films Donald's welcome home. Diane passed away 2008. In NO OTHER TIME (that I'm aware of) is there video of the four of us posed together.

Even though we have so very much. Some 8mm was lost. So, we'll never know what we truly had:

While writing these posts some moments just "click," like this:Neighbors
When neighborhood were neighborly. You knew who your neighbors were. Not just by name. You knew them. You'd talk over the fence, hedges, at the edge of the lawn, on the street...
That piece of Americana is as lost as the home phone:
