It's February 1969. It's also Marie's wedding day. The Bride & her guests wore white as a blizzard engulfs NY to Boston. Slide show's to your right. Fearing poor conditions most guests cancel (that day). Mike's best man & ushers could only make it to the reception so Donald in rubber boots (literally) stepped in as Usher. 
Blizzard conditions only worsened. Snow was near two feet. The reception was shortened as caravans were formed. After a slow, dangerous drive with family behind us we made it about half way down our street until the cars could go no more. Marie & Mike were renting our second floor. They were stuck there for three days. Marie laughs as she recalls us below hitting the ceiling with a broom handle while they were upstairs on their "Honeymoon." Here are two more minutes recently "unearthed," from 1969. The film, (mostly) captured by Uncle Dan begins with twelve seconds of the exterior of Uncle Sonny's the day before. Notice the car in the driveway. That is, notice how you can "see," the car in the driveway. The next twenty seconds are taken at 37 Hopper. The remaining footage is of the aftermath of the Blizzard. That's Uncle Sonny driving the plow, with Uncle Dan riding in the back.

2013: Winter storm Nemo blasts the northeast 44 years to the day after the Blizzard of 69. Frank Patane happened to film a plow going by his parent's Armonk NY home in 1969. I opened our garage door during Nemo just as plow was going by our home in East Greenwich RI:
